God is LOVE

10/10/20. I feel like the Lord had to take me back to a place tonight that I haven’t been in a long time. A place of receiving his love. Letting it all in and allowing it to wash over me. Realizing that it was in his love that I found freedom. It was first encountering him and understanding how much he loved me that changed EVERYthing about my life. Once I knew how much God TRULY loved me, everything about my life started to change. I didn’t need so much from others because all that goodness, all that grace, all that deep affection came raining down from him. If there’s one thing I wish for every soul on this earth to know, it is that GOD IS LOVE. Apart from that, there is no reason to believe. No reason to have faith. No reason to accept Jesus as the one who saves. When you can feel that love and I mean truly feel, experience, touch and taste that love, you will never be the same. And you will never need what you thought you needed before. You will be content in that moment. Absolutely and wholeheartedly at peace and content with who you are because of who he is! There is so much good news today. Despite our trials in life, despite our tribulations, the truth of the matter is that God loves you so much and he is DESPERATE for you to know that. Desperate to be included in your life. He says “we are called Children of God”. That means that we belong. We are accepted. We have a heavenly family. It is so far beyond this earth and so far beyond our short time here. It is ETERNAL. It is ROYAL. It is just plain LOVELY. So if your questioning your faith today, not sure whether he is real or not, or simply taking a stand that there is no God, I want to pray for you and my prayer is that you would EXPERIENCE his LOVE. The absolute REALNESS of it in its entirety. And not miss ONE once of the truth. God loves you far beyond anything you could possibly conceive or imagine. In Jesus name. Amen 🖤
